The Sumo is a 54 foot long fishing vessel. It is powered by twin Detroit Diesel engines and has the latest in electronics navigation and safety equipment. The bait tank can hold up to 60 scoops of bait. We have a full service galley that is well equipped to provide a wide variety of meals. The galley seats eight and is equipped with a TV and VCR. For over night trips we have a spacious bunk room that can sleep up to 16 anglers in single bunks, no doubles.
Although licensed for many more we specialize in limited load charters. This will afford the angler plenty of fishing space. When we do run open party trips they are limited load also.
Sumo Sportfishing offers charters from half day up to two days. Fishing destinations range from local, Channel Islands or the Outer banks.
